Building Works:
Refurbishment to the existing emergency department including redesign of area to incorporate three new beds, a new staff station and new Reception/Triage area.
Site Specific Building Solutions:
DNAco worked closely with both the Architect and the client in the design phase of this project to come up with solutions which would suit the needs of both patients and staff. Being an older building there were a few surprises along the way and redesign was necessary. As in any sensitive environment, DNAco staff were very careful not to negatively impact on the continued smooth running of hospital services adjacent to construction works.
Contract Results:
The project was completed on time and within budget. Additional work to the original contract was also completed successfully.
