Management Structure:
DNAco's team consisted of Frank Mugisha as the Contracts Manager with the assistance of Matt Coombs who was the Site Manager for the project. Our team worked closely with the Client and Davis Langdon, who were the project managers, to achieve a successful outcome.
Building Works:
Refurbishment of 40 one and two bedroom units within existing buildings.
Project specific building solutions:
The client Retirement Care Australia engaged DNACo in June 2007 to refurbish existing units in four different two storey buildings. The brief required demolition of existing joinery, fitting & fixtures, internal partitions and floor coverings in each individual unit. Build new internal partitions, new paint, joinery, fittings & fixtures and new floor coverings. All the work had to be staged so that there was minimal impact on the daily operation of the village. The constraints on this project were the restricted access, spread of individual buildings within the village, working in an aged care facility while nearby units were still occupied by residents and the tight program within which the project was to be delivered.
Contract Result:
The DNAco team in conjunction with the project manager worked through the above constraints to deliver a successful project within time and budget to a satisfied client.
