Site Specific Building Solutions:
Working within the hospital requires keeping impact to a minimum during construction works. Sensitivity to patient needs as well as on-going functionality for hospital staff is of utmost importance. The work that DNAco did was carried out while the hospital continued to function with 7 theatres going and strict infection controls in place. DNAco also built theatre 8 through a 500 w x 1800 h window opening on the third floor. The work was done through the window which overlooked the main entrance to the hospital. Obviously OH&S was a high priority. Some creativity on the part of the sight supervisor in managing a work environment through a window was needed. The normal expected sensitivities in relation to working in a functioning hospital environment were handled very well by the whole construction team in conjunction with the medical staff.

Contract Results:
With many challenges along the way, the DNAco team still managed to produce a very high quality result which was within budget and within the timeline expected
